Bihar Board
- Every year in the month of February (tentatively), the BSEB conducts Class 10 exams, often known as Matric exams. This year's results were released on May 26, 2020. Every year, over 16 to 17 lakh students sit the exam, with the pass rate increasing in previous years. Supplementary tests are also held by the Bihar board for students who did not pass their Class 10 exams.
- The Bihar board also administers the BSEB Class 12 test, often known as the Inter exam, to affiliated schools throughout the state. The exams for Class 12 are usually held in February and the results are announced in March. The results for Class 12 were released on March 24, 2020. The BSEB also conducts the Class 12 supplemental exams, same as the Class 10 supplementary exams, for all three streams: science, arts, and commerce.
- The State Government of Bihar has prescribed the BSEB syllabus for all classes. Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Math, Social Science (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics), and English are among the courses covered in Class 10. After Class 10, pupils have the choice of choosing between the Science, Commerce, or Arts streams. The board and the government decide on the syllabus for all topics and streams.

- The Bihar School Examination Board sets the pattern for both the Matric and Inter exams. In the tests, there will be 50 percent objective type questions worth one mark on each paper. For the 1 mark MCQs, the students are also given OMR sheets. Questions of a descriptive nature will also be included in the papers. Aside from that, there are subjects that include practicals and have a weighted average of 30 practicals + 70 written.
